Our Employees

Our workforce is the engine driving our business operations. Our diverse staff deliver an outstanding and inclusive experience to Cal State Fullerton partners and students. We are committed to supporting employee growth and implementing practices that ensure equitable opportunities for success, professional development, and job satisfaction. Our ultimate goal is to optimize service delivery to our CSUF family and all stakeholders that we do business with.

Aligned with GOAL 3 of our Division’s Strategic Plan: Recruit, Develop, and Retain High-Quality and Diverse Staff. Our Division is committed to supporting professional growth and developing robust practices to ensure we are represented effectively and inclusively; and ensure we strive to be a representation of our student community.

Division Level Strategies:

  1. Facilitate access to resources to support efforts in attracting and recruiting diverse candidates, such as through Equitable Searches and Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation Training.
  2. Develop and support programs and initiatives to enhance A&F employee awareness and understanding, and instill cultural changes that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through education and practical experiences. We work in conjunction with our Campus’ Office of Engagement and Belonging including the DIEP Strategic Initiatives and Engagement & Learning Resolution Education.
  3. Enhance and expand engagement activities to boost morale and improve the sense of community among staff, including efforts by the Staff Development Center.
  4. Hold management and staff accountable for conducts of concern to bridge trust gaps within the university community.
  5. Promote professional development opportunities, including leadership training, to support A&F staff with equitable access for advancement. This involves the Staff Development Center's programs and resources.
  6. Support the advocacy of sustainable financial models that enable fair and equitable pay for recruitment, promotion, and professional development.
